Vernon Glenn, also known as the ?Lowcountry Lawyer,? is a board certified civil trial lawyer who has been practicing law for over 30 years. He focuses his practice on professional and medical malpractice law, business litigation, contract and business disputes, dram litigation, heavy commercial vehicle and 18 wheeler litigation, same day surgery litigation, post-operative neglect litigation, brain damage and closed head injury litigation, slips and falls litigation, pedestrian litigation, plaintiff motor vehicle accident litigation, nursing home litigation, plaintiff personal injury litigation, products liability law, Social Security and disability law, and toxic torts.
Glenn, who earned his bachelor?s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, holds a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, located in Winston-Salem, N.C. He is admitted to practice in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina, and before the U.S. District Court Eastern District of North Carolina, the U.S. District Court Western District of North Carolina, the U.S. District Court Middle District of North Carolina, the U.S.Court of Appeals 4th Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court District of South Carolina.

Glenn has been named a civil trial lawyer by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in both North and South Carolina. He has also received the Professional Trial Lawyers Institute certification by J.A. Appleman Seminars in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has been named as one of the Outstanding Lawyers of America, as one of the Best Lawyers in America, as one of the Best Trial Lawyers in America, and he has received the highest A/V rating from Martindale-Hubbell? for professional skill and ethics. Additionally, Glenn, who is one of only 26 certified civil trial lawyers in South Carolina and one of only 14 in North Carolina, has testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Aging.

Glenn is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the South Carolina, North Carolina, and American Bar Associations, The North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has also served as chairman of the Ethics Committee for both the SCTLA, Medico-Legal Affairs Committee and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, as a member of the Board of Directors for the Carolina Lowcountry Girl Scout Council, as a member of the advisory council to the Board of Trustees at Ashley Hall, and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Charleston Day School. He is also the author of numerous articles and blogs.
